We always strive to meet exceptional standards in the way our club is run, and we place our players’ welfare at the heart of everything we do.
We're always looking for ways to do things better, so the feedback we receive from parents, players and supporters is vital to us. If you have any concerns, comments or suggestions for improvement, please let one of the coaching staff or committee members know. We’re always open to your thoughts and ideas.
Membership fees & monthly subscription
Our membership fees cover the hire of all pitches, training equipment and kit (which must be returned if players leave), astroturf/indoor training during the Winter months, FA CRB checks for all volunteers, and FA courses for our staff including safeguarding and first aid.
But most importantly, the fees cover the insurance for our players in the unfortunate event that they suffer an injury. It’s therefore vital that payments to the club are kept up-to-date, as failure to do so will mean that your child won’t be insured in the event of injury.
We ask all new parents when registering their child for our club to complete and return a Standing Order form to their bank or building society or for online banking. Additional copies are available from the Club Treasurer. However if parents would like more flexibility when making payments, please speak with the Club Treasurer as we can help.
Lydiard Youth FC fully supports the FA Respect initiative which aims to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children to play football.
As parents and supporters, you also have an important role to play. Please take a few minutes to read and familiarise yourself with the FA's Respect initiative by visiting their website.
